LAKE WEED TREATMENT

Noon through next morning please stay off the lake - THANK YOU!

1. Noon Wednesday, June 14th through next morning please stay off the lake as large wakes/waves are disruptive to the application of the invasive Eurasian Milfoil (EU) treatment. We suggest no swimming or boating to avoid disrupting the water.

2. All Sprinklers using lake water should be turned off on Wednesday June 14th. Turn them back on 24 hours later.

3. The treatment will target the EU and reduce the height of the native aquatic weeds by 6-8 inches in the boat lanes. This will improve navigation and water quality without harming the native plants.

4. We are happy to report our survey of the lake last year showed success in the treatment of EU.

We believe one of our success factors in treatments the last several years is the lack of boat traffic on the water. Please wait to boat until Thursday, June 15th, noon. Thank you for your support and understanding.
