Dear West Bloomfield Township HOA Representatives and Shoreline Community, For those interested: Tuesday, March 15, West Bloomfield Parks & Recreation and Friends of the Rouge will host a virtual workshop entitled ‘Let’s Zoom Into a Rain Garden’. Please see the description below: Embrace the rain before it hits the drain and learn how to build a RAIN GARDEN! Participants will receive a copy of "Let’s Build a Rain Garden!", the recently published children’s book by West Bloomfield author Sally Wenczel. Enjoy a family-friendly reading by the author and acquire a basic skill-set for keeping the local watershed healthier. Scientists from Friends of the Rouge will be available to answer specific planting questions as you plan your vibrant, pollinator-friendly, native rain garden! Every little bit helps when it comes to keeping our watershed healthy.
