Low Water Level - How Can YOU Help?
Pine Lake’s water levels are low, due in part, to limited snow this winter, high winds and low rainfall. The last time we saw low water was in 2016. Having low water, will likely increase the amount of visible aquatic weeds in the navigable waters as the sun helps them grow.
Things you can do to help combat low water - if you draw water for your sprinkling system from the lake:
- Reduce your sprinkler frequency
- Reduce your sprinkler duration (some riparians & businesses have sensors in their grass to reduce use)
- Do a rain dance!
